Harry
leaves to mourn his mother, Summon Stewart,
wife, Rose Stewart, children; Korlu, Sam, (Sumonn,
Harriet, Fatu, Musu, Harry V. Stewart, Jason,
Winston and Sam. a brother James D. Stewart,
two sisters Fatu and Hawa, nephews Sam, Alex,
Henry, Cephas, Rudolph, Jesse, Fahn, John, Sando,
Solo, Gotokoee, and Cannon, nieces Fatu, Helena,
Louis, Victoria, Rosetta, Small Fatu, Betty,
Saybah, In-laws Carolyn Stewart, Mabel B.Benda,
Many grand children and friends.
Harry
V. Stewart, was not only a son, husband, father,
brother or uncle, he was also a militant.
One
of his many great achievements was his fight
with the Immigration and Naturalization Service.
He took on the INS all by himself; he was the
one man ticket line. He spoke against the treatment
of Liberians by immigration officers.
Harry
Stewart protested against the harassments of
Liberians in the workplace, by immigration officer
using deportation as a fear tactic.
