With Heavy Hearts, the Soko family sadly announce the untimely passing of their beloved father, brother, nephew, uncle, and grandfather, Marcus Soko JR. This sad event occurred on April 23, 2020, in Monrovia Liberia. Marcus served as the Director of The Drug Enforcement Administration in Liberia. Prior to that, he lived and worked in Brooklyn, New York for over 30 years. Junior, as he was affectionately called, leaves to cherish his memories, his family in New York: his children, Melvin Soko, Augustine Soko and Hamega Soko; his Aunt, Victoria Soko; his uncle, James Browne and a host of other relatives and friends in the United States and Liberia.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE:
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM.at the Christ Assembly Lutheran Church on 27 Hudson Street, Staten Island, New York 10304
