William
Alfred Smith, II (Al)
With
heartfelt regrets the Smith, Coleman and Moulton
families announce the home going of our father,
son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin William
Alfred Smith, II - affectionately called "Al".
Al
had struggled with AML (Leukemia) for close
to one and one-half years, but succumbed to
the cancer on Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at
about 7:15 p.m. His passing occurred at the
Rainbow Health & Rehab Center in Memphis,
Tennessee, USA and was peaceful with family
members by his side.
He
is survived by his mother, Eudora Z. Coleman;
two sons, William A. Smith, III, and Jaleel
E. Smith; three brothers, Christian R. Smith,
J. Oscar Smith and Shadrach B. Smith, Sr.; three
sisters, Joyce Smith, Sara Renee Smith and Byrle
Smith-George; the family patriarch, Reverend
J. K. Levee Moulton; other relatives in the
United States and Liberia.
