 Mr. Samuel Boyd Smith, Sr.
The Smith, Kpue, and Jacobs families are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Mr. Samuel Boyd Smith, Sr. (commonly known as Uncle Sam). Uncle Sam was a former employee of LAMCO, Buchanan, Liberia. He was also a dedicated member of the Liberian Christian Baptist Church and former member of the Bassa Association of Washington, DC. After a long period of illness, he transitioned on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the Frederick General Memorial Hospital in Frederick MD, USA.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Marie M.J. Smith; 6 children; 5 sisters; 4 brothers; 12 nephews, 10 nieces; 9 grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends in the USA and Liberia.
