The Smith, Gbeh, Stevens and the Peoples Community
Lutheran Church families sadly announce the
home going of their wife, mother, daughter,
grand-daughter, aunt and Minister; Candace Mitchen
Smith.
This
sad event occurred on the 11th of July, 2010
6:45 p.m. at the Gilchrist Hospice Care in Baltimore,
Maryland.
Candace
was a faithful believer in Christ who loved
him and faithfully served her Lord. She leaves
to mourn her loss her husband Otis, Son Shane,
Father, Rev. Toby A. Gbeh, foster mother Esther
Mark-Gbeh, Grandmother Eliza Stevens; a host
of other relatives and a host of dear and beloved
friends. Candace was predeceased by her mother
Aletha Johnson Cooper in 2009.
Per
her request, anyone attending the funeral is
asked to dress in white.
Also, anyone wishing to send flowers is asked
to donate to a special fund for the early detection
of Breast Cancer in Liberia. Said amount should
be deposited in the bank and account below:
