 Dr. Benjamin D. Smallwood
The Smallwood and Merchant family with thanksgiving to God, announce the passing in his 93rd year of Dr. Benjamin D. Smallwood. This sad event occurred on August 29, 2019 at approximately 1 AM ET., at home with his lovely and dedicated wife in Laurel Maryland, after a protracted period of illness. He will be sorely missed by his family.
He leaves to mourn his wife, Esther Smallwood, his son Charles Smallwood, his daughters Marcia Dunlap (John Dunlap), and Sherill Smallwood, his grandchildren London Dunlap, Messiah Dunlap, Israel Smallwood, and Nala Dunlap. He was predeceased by his son, Benjamin Smallwood Jr, by his cousin and brother, Judge E. Winfred Smallwood, Sr.. He is also survived by his mother in law, Rose D Merchant and a host of relative and friends, both in Liberia and the United States.
