Mrs. Julia Seton-Sleweon

It is with heavy heart that the Sleweon family announces the death of their matriarch, Mrs. Julia Seton-Sleweon. This sad event took place on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at the home of her daughter in Philadelphia, PA. after a period of declining health. Julia was born on November 27, 1935 in Rock Town, Maryland County unto the union of John Seton and Martha Elliott. Mama is survived by her husband and best friend, George Sleweon Sr., eight children including Catherine Sleweon-Tyler [Victor Tyler], Thomas [TK] Sleweon [Eunice Perry], Wilma Sleweon-Harris [Kenneth Harris],  Josephine Sleweon-Parker [Konah Parker, Georgette Sleweon-Coker [Samuel Coker], George Sleweon, jr [Marla Hollinger], Julia Sleweon and Joseph Sleweon [Tasha Haymon], several grandchildren, great grand, many foster children, nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Mama was a devout Christian and humanitarian who lived her life with humility and deference to the Lord.
