The Sherman, Harris, Quito families announce the sudden death of our wife, mother, daughter, sister, cousin and friend Dr. Marylue Sherman on Tuesday. May 17, 2016, at home surrounded by her beloved family who loved her so much.
Marylue was born in Monrovia, Liberia to Mr. Benjamin T. and Hannah L. Harris. Marylue was given the middle name Bloohjay. In the Bassa dialect this means “For the World” and she indeed touched the world winning countless souls for Christ. She was preceded in death by her father Benjamin T. Harris
Dr.Marylue Sherman was the founder and director of Women of Faith International Ministries. The Woman of Faith’s outreach programs included interfaith revivals and deliverance services, a weekly prayer conference line and missions to Africa focused on orphanages and family assistance programs. She touched many lives by providing christian counselling services through her employment that hired and gave second chance employment opportunities to men and women with criminal records, drug problems and young unwed mothers and victims of domestic abuse.
Marylue was most known for her dedication and power as an intercessory prayer warrior and for her anointing in the supernatural. She had an intimate relationship with Christ and led many to him. Her humility, meekness and unconditional love for all people are qualities that will never be forgotten.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, George Flamma Sherman, Jr, children, George Flamma III, Janjay, Daniel and Neejay, grandchildren, George Flamma IV, Ramaya, Isabella and Daniel, II. Also her mother Hannah Quito-Harris, siblings, Victoria Harris (Liberia), Ramson and Romana Harris, (Missouri), Father Blamo Harris, (Ghana), Chuchu Harris (Liberia) Benjamin T. Harris, Jr fiancé Velissa Karpeh,(Minnesota) Beatrice Harris (Missouri), Eleanor Childs (Missouri), Agnes and Moses Weefur (Atlanta), Emma and James Venn (Missouri). Her nieces and nephews that she adores, Yarvor, Nicole, Mosetta, Monte, Candice, Ramson Jr. Magnes, Benita, Ben II, Shawn, Miciah, Abigial, Tutu, Momulo, Oretha, Decontee, Jerry, Beatrice and Valerie. Miciah, Abigial, Tutu, Momulo, Oretha, Decontee, Jerry, Beatrice and Valerie. She also leaves to morn her passing many cousins,and her sister in laws Louiae Neffertiti Meyer, Corina Flamma Sherman, Victoria Lang and sister in Law and prayer partner Georgia Welwood, countless friends and spiritual sisters and families in Liberia and the United States.
