 Kellita Atheline Whisnant Sherman (January 25, 1949 - April 14, 2018)
The Sherman, Whisnant, Brown and Prout families are deeply saddened to announce the sudden homegoing in her 69th year of Mrs. Kellita Atheline Whisnant Sherman. The heartbreaking loss of our cherished Kellita occurred on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 9:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Care Medical Center in Monrovia.
The late Kellita Sherman was born on January 25, 1949 in Monrovia unto the union of Claudia Violet Brown Whisnant and Ambassador Lloyd Kelly Whisnant, Sr. Her beloved husband, Hon. John W. F. Sherman, Sr., tragically predeceased her in 1980. She was predeceased by both parents; her sister, Rev. Dixine N. Carter Cox; and her brothers, Alva Carter, Isnard Whisnant and Lucien Whisnant.
Kellita leaves to mourn her sons, John W. F. Sherman, Jr. and Alva Rajoe Whisnant; her brothers, Lloyd K. Whisnant, Jr., Eric Whisnant and John Whisnant; her sisters, Veda Whisnant Farrell, Estellabella Whisnant, Olive Whisnant and Lloydlette Whisnant; her uncle, Isaac Whisnant; her aunt, Estelle Brown Hammond; six grandchildren, many foster children, wards, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand nephews, cousins, god sisters, god brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, her stepmother, Rosemarie Vanderwolf Donkersloot Whisnant, and a host of other relatives and friends in the United States, Liberia and Europe.
