sadden hearts and deep regrets, the Sharpe and
Warner Families announce the passing of our
mother, sister, grandmother, Aunt, Cousin and
friend, Mrs Maude W. Sharpe. This sad even occurred
on Saturday morning January 2, 2010 at the J.
F. Kennedy Medical Center in Monrovia, Liberia.
Ma
Sharpe or Ma Willo, as she was affectionately
called, leaves to mourn her children, T. G.
Sharpe, Bill Sharpe, Sue Carter, Tresa Tomo
Peah, Zack Sharpe, David Deranamie and Catherine
Sharpe Brewer. She also leaves to mourn her
brother, Bishop Bennie D. Warner, Sisters-in-Law,
Anna Warner, Esther Sharpe Howard, Martha Manly,
Brother-in-Law, T. Lysander Mayson, Daughters-in-Law,
Uluma Sharpe, Esther Deranamie and Elizabeth
Sharpe, Son-in-Law, Rodney Carter, forty grandchildren,
four great grandchildren and several nieces,
nephews and friends in the United States and
Liberia. She was predeceased by her husband
Garway W. Sharpe and Daughter Neajay Sharpe
