Anthony Ndebe Selli
On February 10, 2018, our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend passed away in Monrovia, Liberia.
Anthony Ndebe Selli was born on April 28, 1947 to Hinnah and Quasay Selli in Mbabahun, Lofa County. As a young boy with big dreams, with an inquisitive and intelligent mind, his love of learning grew immensely at the Booker T. Washington Institute (BWI) in Kakata, Liberia. Upon graduating from BWI, he would work with nothing but his dream of studying to become an Electrical Engineer left his beloved Liberia to travel across the ocean to the University of Massachusetts Lowell where he earned his BSc in Electrical Engineering. Anthony was a highly successful Power Supply Engineer for over 20 years at EMC Corporation in Hopkinton, MA and 10 years at Wang Laboratories in Lowell, MA.
With the love of his homeland never far from his heart, Anthony was one of the founding members and first President of the Liberian Association in the Merrimack Valley and the BWI Alumni Association where he served as president on both local and national levels.
Anthony is survived by his wife, Gerogia E. (Mason) Selli, his son Ndebe H. Selli, daughters Elsie Q. (Selli) Johnson Yahlon A. (Selli) Litchmore, son-in-law, Raymond Litchmore, brothers Francis N.
