Senator Nancy Bleni Seedee

‘The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh; may the name of the Lord be praised”. We accepted good from God, and now with tears, The Seedee, Bleni families of Barclayville Grand Kru County announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin, and wife of the late Grand Kru Senator Nancy Bleni Seedee on Wednesday September 30, 2020.

Mama Nancy, Aunty, Our Ma, some of the many names she was affectionately referred to was a very caring person. Her home was always open to everyone in the community. She embraced the Christian life at a very early age and continued until her health could not allow. She was a member of Mark G Mah United Methodist Church in Liberia. In the United States, she joined Mt. Zion United Methodist (Laurel), and was fond of all the members.

Nancy Bleni was pre-deceased by her parents Mr. & Mrs. John Chie Bleni, her husband Hon. Thomas KF Seedee, daughter Wynnie Seedee, two grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She will be remembered and missed by her, children: Esther Seedee-Mah, Raymond W. Seedee, Cllr. Amos Y. Bartu, (Christine), S. Monsio Seedee, B. Kumeh Seedee (Elizabeth), J. Gordoh-mah Seedee, and T.Bartehkwai Seedee. Several grandchildren including Barbara Freeman, Stephanie T. Pelham, Thomas Monsio Bedell, Ndidi Ahaghotu, Constance Bartu, and Wilhelmina Zarzar, she will also be remembered and missed by her many great grand Children, great great grandchildren, several nephews, nieces, many grandnieces and grandnephews, and a slew of relatives and friends from around the world.

Mother you will be missed dearly. Sleep on until we meet again.
