HADJA DABA MARIAMA SARNOR
It is with profound sadness that the Sarnor/Siryon, Sillah/Berete, Doley, Dukuly, Sheriff/Sirleaf, Sesay, Johnson, Dennis and Haines families announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, HADJA DABA MARIAMA SARNOR. This unexpected event occurred on Saturday, December 15, 2018, in Monrovia, Liberia. She was a Vai princess, daughter of Parliamentarian and Chief Amadu Zwanna Sarnor. She leaves to mourn her loss 7 children: Ahmadu B. Sillah, Aminatta B. Sillah, Hawa B. Sillah, Sori B. Sillah, Daouda B. Sillah and Hajalatu B. Sillah, her adopted children Mariama Addy-Sillah and Numukeh Sori Sillah. 24 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 2 brothers: Alhaji Zwannah Sarnor and Varney Sarnor, 9 sisters: Maima Sarnor, Hadja Sanu Sarnor, Maima Sarnor-McGill, Hadja Musu Sarnor, Hawa Sarnor, and small Daba Sanor, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her parents, husband, Alhaji Mamadi Berete Sillah, son, Alhaji Saku Berete Sillah. From Allah we come and to Allah we return. "Inna Lillahi wa Inna illahi Rajiun ".
