 FEMORE MOMOLU SARNOR
With profound regrets, the Sarnor, Enos-Edu, Dorley, Dennis, Dukuly and Wallace families, announce with faith in the resurrection, the sudden passing of Mr. Femore Momolu Sarnor in his 73th year. He was the son of the late Honorable Ambullah Zwannah Sarnor, former member of the House of Representative in Lofa County, Republic of Liberia and the late Bamah M. Dorley Sarnor. He was an entrepreneur and founder/proprietor of the famous Sahara Oasis Restaurant in Hyattsville, Maryland and Accra, Ghana. He was a devoted Christian and a loving husband. This sad event occurred on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at 6:30pm at the Washington Adventist Hospital, in Takoma Park, Maryland, USA.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his darling wife of 49 years, Mrs. Emma Enos-Edu Sarnor; Children: Ama Sarnor and his adopted daughter Dzifa Sarnor. Brothers: Momo G. “Moe” Sarnor, Armah Sarnor, Soko Sarnor, Zwannah Sarnor, and Amadu Sarnor. Sisters: Bendu Sarnor-Lloyd, Miatta Sarnor-Tarnue, Nyalai Sarnor-Lalugba, Fata Sarnor-David, Marcia Sarnor, Miatta Sarnor-Dodoo, Nyakorneh Sarnor, Cortee Sarnor, Maima Sarnor and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles along with a circle of great friends and associates in the USA, Liberia, Ghana and the world over.
“Uncle Fe” or “Bro Fe”, as he was affectionately called, was the patriarch of his family. Always cheerful, and bearing a friendly smile, he was a devoted family oriented man with the persona of a consummate diplomat. He was always supportive and lending a hand, as an anchor for family, and friends. He was very thoughtful, respectful and compassionate. He left us awesome memories and life-long lessons that will remain with us. For that and much more, we will miss him dearly.
