Mrs.
Bamah Mamalon Dorley-Sarnor
The
Dorley, Sarnor, Dukuly and Sirleaf families
announce the triumphant homegoing of our dear
mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother,
cousin and friend, Mrs. Bamah Mamalon Dorley-Sarnor.
She passed away at her Brewerville resident
in Liberia on June 07, 2010.
She
was predeceased by her husband on May 18, 1972,
Honorable Ambulai Zwannah Sarnor, former Member
of the House of Representatives from Bopolu,
Lofa County (Currently Gbarpolu County). Mourning
the loss of "Mamalon" (as she was
affectionately called), are her children: Femore
Sarnor (Emma Edu), Momo Sarnor (Lucille), Bendu
Sarnor-Lloyd (Emerson) and Miatta Sarnor (Rev.
Tarnue). Her grandchildren: Sarmah Keekie Lloyd
(John F. Lloyd) Precious Sarnor, Ambulai Alfonso
Sarnor, Tonia Massa Sarnor, Kumah Sarnor, Emerlyn
Lloyd and Keisha Sarnor of the U.S.A. Great
grandchildren include: John F. Lloyd Jr., Jasmine
Lloyd and Mickela Sarnor, along with a host
nieces, nephews, cousins, foster children and
friends in the USA, Europe and Liberia. She
was greatly loved by everyone and will surely
be missed.
In
keeping with Mamalon's religious practice, a
Seven-Day Feast was held on Monday, June
14, 2010 in Brewerville, Liberia.
The
40 day feast will be celebrated on Sunday,
July 18th in Brewerville (Vonzon), Liberia .
