The family of Garretson Wilmot Sacko, affectionately called Wango and Bulldozer, regrets to announce the homegoing of our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend in his 78th. year.  The peaceful transition occured on November 16, 2015 at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark after a brief illness. 

Football played a huge part of Garretson's life.  Early in his football career, Garretson was part of the Liberian National Team (Lone Star) along with his late brother, George M. Sacko.  He was later a part of the Invincible Eleven (IE) Football Team and Mighty Barrolle (Rollers). He was a star athlete and good citizen.  Garretson also sat on the Board of Trustees for the Invincible Eleven (IE) Football Club in Newark, New Jersey.  

He leaves to cherish his memory: a son, Gary of New York; a daughter, Monique of Virginia; two sisters, Doris of Maryland and Cecilia of Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Samantha, Jacob and Alexis of Virginia; beloved friend of the Brandy family of New Jersey; a host of cousins, nieces and nephews in the US and Liberia.
