Mother, Ruthie P. Saab

This is to announce the sudden home-going of my mother, Ruthie P. Saab. This sad event occurred on Sunday, May 24th, 2020 at 11:53PM at the Virtua Hospital in Willingboro, New Jersey.
Ruthie was born October 8, 1960 to the union of Camille Saab and Beatrice Karnga both of whom predeceased her.
Ruthie attended elementary school at the Totota Lutheran Mission in Bong County, Liberia; subsequently, she attended and graduated from high school at the Lutheran Training Institute in Salayea, Lofa County. Ruthie would go on to attend the Cuttington University in Bong County, Liberia, and later matriculated to Texas Southern University in Houston Texas, where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
Ruthie worked as a Tax Examiner, Division of Employer Accounts - Collections at the Department of Labor and Workforce Development in Trenton, New Jersey from 1992 until her death. She was a spiritual leader who led many to Christ, and also served as Executive Coordinator/Administrator of the Bethel World Outreach Ministries International, Dominion Center, in Trenton New Jersey. Ruthie was a founding member and president of the Sisters Club in Trenton, New Jersey. She served her family and the Liberian community with diligence and excellence as an organizer and a giver.
Ruthie leaves to mourn her beloved daughter Ashley Saab and grandson Malachi Saab. Ruthie also leaves to mourn her beloved maternal brother Daniel Gbardoe, and sisters Comfort Dennis, Roselyn Briggs, and Rosetta Briggs. Her beloved paternal brothers, Asaad Saab, Talal Saab, Alaa Saab and Walid Saab, and Stepmother Nahida Saab, along with a host of other relatives and friends including her church family, the Sisters of Trenton, and umbrella of family members headed by Lady Johnson. The void that Ruthie leaves is immeasurable. She is terribly missed by all, and our hearts are broken.
Interment: 6/13/ 2020 at the Greenwood Cemetery. 1800 Hamilton Ave. Hamilton, New Jersey 08619. Note: Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, attendance at grave site is very limited to small group. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date to honor her life and legacy.
