Philip Fanieh Robinson

"The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away; Blessed be the name of the Lord". Job 1:21

With deep sorrow, the Robinson and Crayton families announce the home-going of their beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and cousin Philip Fanieh Robinson. This sad event occurred on Friday, July 14, 2017 at the Hopkins Manor Nursing Home in Providence, Rhode Island.

Philip was a loving husband, a devoted father, a family man, public sevant and an avid sportsman.  Philip, Papa, Uncle Philip, Cousin Philip, as he was affectionately called, leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife of fifty-three years Minerva Sarah Crayton Robinson; his children Jacqueline Robinson-Phillips (Anthony), Philomena Robinson and Judy Cole; grandchildren George Papie Doe, Zeline Brock, Wendell Phillips, Philyne Brock, Sando Roberts and Dorieder Phillips.  He is also survived by his sister Mrs. Hannah Bush, his brother Mr. Joseph Tugbeh Manneh, and his sister-in-law Mrs. Lucy Droh Robinson.  His brothers Reverend Alfred Jugbeh Robinson and Herbert Portee Robinson, and his son Robert Wayne Brock predeceased him.  He will surely be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Liberia, Sierra Leone, and the United States. 

May his sweet, gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
