Augustus
Geenah Roberts, affectionately known as Gussie,
was called home to be with our Lord on March
19, 2011. He passed away at the JFK Hospital
in Monrovia, Liberia. The family is grateful
to the Almighty God for the gift of time spent
with Gussie and His blessing of comfort as we
grieve this great loss.
Gussie
worked as a civil engineer at the Ministry of
Public Works for over 30 years. He graduated
from the University of Liberia in 1978 and the
College of West Africa (CWA) in 1973.
Gussie
was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Samuel
Togba Roberts and mother, Victoria Kye Roberts.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys Toh- Roberts;
daughter, Debra Roberts; son, Solomon Roberts;
brothers, Joseph, Togba Nah (Fatu), Dewitt (Jewel),
Tarpeh (Etmonia), Charles (Sherry), Emmanuel
and Kanty; sister, Adelaide (Anthony) Harris;
and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other
relatives and special friends residing in Liberia,
USA, Canada, England, and around the world.
