Mr. James Lafayette Richardson

The Richardson, Brown, Washington, Givens, Hardy, Towers, the Careysburg and  the Grace Baptist church families of German town, Philadelphia announce the transition from labor to rest in his 98th year of Mr. James Lafayette Richardson on February 18th, 2015. Mr. James L. Richardson was born unto the union of Mr. Samuel O and Mrs. Eliza Richardson on December 7th, 1916 in Careysburg, Liberia, the youngest of eight children.

"Fayette, Uncle Fayette, Binyahn, La La Lee, Last man standing as he was lovingly called by many of his loved ones left his home land Liberia and came to the USA in the early fifties and resided for forty plus of those years in Philadelphia. He is survived by his only biological child, Mr. Gregory Lafayette Richardson (Sheryl ) his Washington children and grandchildren, two sisters in law, Emma and Eunice Richardson, tons of nephews and grand nephews, nieces and  grand nieces, cousins, loved ones in America, Liberia and other parts of the world to cherish his lasting memories.  He was predeceased by both his first wife, Marion and his second, Gladys Richardson; his brothers and sisters, Thomas Richardson, Sarah Richardson, Hardy, Elsie Richardson Brown, Dr. Nathaniel Richardson Sr., Virginia Richardson Tower, Samuel O Richardson Jr. and Robert B. Richardson Sr.
