The Richardson and Taylor families announce the homegoing (in her 84th year) of Teacher Emma Virginia Taylor-Richardson, their matriarch and strong pillar of the family. This sad event occurred at the Maranatha Nursing Home in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 3:00 PM following a protracted period of illness.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years Elder Robert Blhn Richardson, Sr. and survive by 9 children: Robert Richardson Jr., Rev. Samuel O. (Connie) Richardson, Roberta Richardson, Re (Kerper) Dwanyen, Jacqueline (Joe) Lavien, Emma (Lars) McCritty, Emmett (Helena) Richardson, Roland Richardson, Barbara Richardson, Gertrude Flomo, and E. Christian Richardson. Her special niece Mawata; Devoted foster children; Hawa Dukuly, Amos Gray, Melvin Howard, Eliza Topkals, Antonette Wessel, and Comfort Meh Gibson; 18 grandchildren, 3 great grand, nephews, nieces, several very good friends and other relatives in the United States, Liberia and other parts of the world.
She was also predeceased by her children Rev. William N. Richardson, Nathaniel Richardson III, Harrison Feetol Richardson, and Winston Richardson; and all her brothers and sisters.
