Reverend Justus Y. Reeves
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that the family of Reverend Justus Y. Reeves announces his passing in his 57th year at approximately 11:25pm on Sunday, December 6, 2015 in Accra, Ghana, West Africa. 

Reverend Reeves was the Executive Secretary of the Liberian Baptist Missionary and Educational Convention, and former Director of Missions of the Progressive National Baptist Convention in Washington, DC.  Reverend Reeves also served for over three decades as a distinguished pastor, leader, educator, esteemed member of The Association of Liberian Christian Ministers (ALCM) and Shiloh Baptist Church of Washington, DC.  As a lifelong advocate for social justice, he forged strategic relations with local leaders, members of the United States Congress, leaders of foreign governments as well as renowned celebrities.  He will forever be remembered, and his enduring contribution to society will cement his legacy. 

Reverend Justus Y. Reeves is survived by his sons,   Zuogwi E, Mlynue A, YueJay T.H. and Janjay E.P. Reeves; his daughter, Syayne Vashtie Sirleaf (Femore); his mother, Gertie Avery; brothers Henry Avery, Eric Avery (Malvenia), St Clarence D. Avery (Cynthia), Lemuel Reeves (Saydah), Melvin Reeves, sisters; Sata Grice Nyemah (Reverend Hne), Ella Avery, Laurice Reeves, Joyce Reeves Woods (Gregory), Agnes Reeves Taylor, Vernon Reeves, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends in Liberia and the United States of America.
