Mr.
Thomas Garlahwhea Redd
The
Redd, Harris and Lawson families announce the
home going of their son, brother, nephew, uncle
and cousin, Mr. Thomas Garlahwhea Redd. He was
51. He died on Monday, September 27, 2010.
His
remains have been deposited at the Samuel Stryker
Funeral Parlors pending burial rites.
Meanwhile,
the family meets daily at the Mamba Point residence
of Cllr. F. Juah Lawson
Funeral
arrangements are as follow:
The
body will be removed from the Samuel Stryker
Funeral Palour on Thursday, October 14 at 4:00
pm and taken to the Sacred Heart Cathedral on
Broad Street for two hours of wake keeping.
The
body will be escorted to the St. Peter Claver's
Catholic Church in Lower Buchanan, Grand Bassa
County, on Friday, October 15, 2010.
Funeral
service takes place on the same Friday,
October 15, at 12 noon at the same church. Burial
follows immediately at Lower Buchanan cemetery.
He
was predeceased by his Father, Mr. George Redd,
Mother Mrs. Adeline E. Harris Horace, two Brothers,
George Junior and Alexander Redd, and Sister
Elizabeth Lawson.
He
leaves to mourn his wife Nettie Redd; one biological
daughter, Tusice Redd, two foster daughters,
Charlotte and Christine Redd; 1 grandson, Amauri
Solomon, 4 Sisters; 3 brothers; several nieces
and nephews; Aunts and Uncles; Cousins and a
host of relatives and friends, in Liberia and
the United States of America.
A
memorial service will be held at the St.
Peter's Claver Church in St. Paul Minnesota
on Saturday, October 30, 2010, at the hour of
10am.
