The Pratt, Higgins, Watkins, Paynes,Whitfield, Jones and Smith
families announce the peaceful home going of their beloved
relative, Father, Uncle, Cousin,Grandfather John Chucku Pratt
( JCP ) on December 2, 2011 in Brockton , Massachusetts .
John was born on January 19, 1929 to the union of Benoni Pratt
and Alexandrina Jones in Freetown , Sierra Leone , but spent
the majority of his life in Monrovia and Buchanan Grand Bassa
County as an entrepreneur , His last job was deputy Collector
of Customs and Excise, at the Port of Buchanan .
John was a devout Christian and a faithful member of the Methodist
Churches in Buchanan and Brockton , Massachusetts . He left
his earthly body to journey to his heavenly home on December
2, 2011 in Brockton , Massachusetts .
John was blessed with a wonderful wife, Rose Whitfield-Pratt,
who predeceased him in 1980. He was deeply loved and will
be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his sister,
Sarah Pratt, brothers, Henry Pratt (Deceased) Victor Smith
(Deceased) Cristin Pratt, children: Willie Taiwo Pratt, Victor
pratt, Abigail Pratt, Ayo Pratt, Onike pratt, Victoria Sabina
