Alfred Momo Taweh Pinney
Alfred Momo Taweh Pinney passed away on October 1, 2019 at the ELWA hospital, Monrovia, Liberia.
Alfred was born on December 5, 1938 to the union of Tumbah and Maima Sando in Macca Town, Gola Konneh, Grand Cape Mount County. He was the only child of his mother. He graduated from the Government High School in Robertsport, Grand Cape Mount County, and Fourah Bay College, Sierra Leone.
Alfred worked as head of Customs in Cape Mount and Sinoe Counties. He served as GSA Coordinator for Grand Cape Munt and City Mayor of Robertsport, and served as Deputy Minister of Planning of Internal Affairs.
Alfred is survived by his wife of 54 years, Musulyn (Lyn Lyn) Saryon Pinney, his children, Henry Taweh Pinney, Maima Pinney, Samuel Pinney, and step-children, Ethel van Golan Shiancoe, Erwin Rommel Jones, Manfred Edmund Jones, and Ciafa Sheriff. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, friends and relatives in Liberia and the USA. Alfred is also survived by Ma Hawa Sonii of Roberstport.
Alfred will be laid to rest in his beloved city of Robertsport, Grand Cape Mount County. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest n perfect peace.
