It is with great sadness that the Passawe, Wolo, Nyanforh, Doe, Kromah, Johnson, and Jones families announce the death of our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and cousin, Mrs. Joanna Wolo Passawe,  daughter of the late Charles Nah Wolo and Princess Nyanforh Gboryenoh of Grandcess, Grand Kru County, Liberia. Joanna went home to be with her Maker on October 8, 2013 at 6:00 a.m. at the SOS Hospital in Congo Town, Liberia.

"Aunty Jo” or "Wollor Gbeh", as she was affectionately called, is survived by her children: Tonia, Wilfred (Dorothy), Andrew, Auston, Jacob, Rose (Colin), Todee, and Sianneh (Tolbert), several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Her loving husband Jacob Boima Passawe, Sr. and children William, Willie, Famatta, and Wonka predeceased her. May her soul rest in perfect peace.

Homegoing service will be held on Wednesday, November 6 at:
