Marie Esther Dupigny-Leigh Parker

The Dupigny-Leigh and Parker families are saddened to announce the home going of their beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and respected states woman, Marie Esther Dupigny- Leigh Parker.

Mrs. Parker passed away on Tuesday, June 03, 2014 ante meridiem at the Howard County General Hospital in Columbia Maryland, due to complications after surgery. Aunt Marie, as she was affectionately called by many, is survived by her children Lester Richard Parker Jr., Marie Parker Harvey (Varian), and Edith Parker Johnson (Richard); Her sisters Mrs. Theresa Leigh-Sherman, Mrs. Nancy Davis-Kiadii, Annie V. Otto, Enoh Cash, Rev. Elspeth Walker and Theresa Essien; three grandchildren, Richard Johnson, Melissa Johnson and Elias Harvey; nieces, nephews and a host of close relatives and friends in Liberia and abroad.
