Elizabeth (“Liz”) Nimene

The Seton and Nimene families regret to announce the death of Ms. Elizabeth Nimene who passed away on Thursday January 26, 2017 at the Saint Joseph Nursing Home, Trumbull Connecticut. She was born in Sinoe County, Liberia to the union of the late John Nimene and Theresa J. Togba.

Elizabeth was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. She was pre-deceased by her son and grandson Marcus Butler, Sr. and Marcus Butler, Jr. in February, 2016.

She leaves to mourn her daughter Marie D. Seton of Stratford Connecticut and son Augustin Weah of Monrovia, Liberia. Grandchildren: Zuquila and Serena Mbachiantim, Marcia, Betsy, Romell, Marckline, Hawa and Marie Butler. Great-grandchildren: Dorcos and Recule Badio, and Micky Boyennel and a host of other relatives and friends. May her soul rest with the Lord in His everlasting grace.
