Mrs. Margaret Dawade Juway Ben Newton

This is to announce the death, in her 100th year, of Mrs. Margaret Dawade Juway Ben Newton, of Biabo Chiefdom, Karluway District, Maryland County, Liberia on Friday, May 1, 2020. She was a long time resident of Pleebo, Maryland County and of Minneapolis, MN in the US, respectively. Her husband, Charles, of nearly 75 years predeceased her in 2009. She has now gone to reunite with her beloved "CC" inHeaven.

She had four biological children, Edmund B. N (deceased 1990), Rose Newton Ezike, Charles Charbay, Jr (Elizabeth) and Wellington N. Toe, (Teresa) all of the latter three residing in the USA. Other Children are David, Barleh and Margaret Newton of Liberia and the United Kingdom.

She is survived by 15 grandchildren, Edmund, Jr, Elizabeth, Dugbaleh and Toyuwa Newton, Valentine, Emmanuel, Chika, Marie and Ngozi (Fatorma) Ezike, Julian, Joseph and Kassabli Newton, Koliju (Jones), Dalier (Atang) and Terewell Newton, 33 great Grandchildren plus several Nephews, Nieces, and Cousins. Finally, other survivors are non-biological children who she raised as her own: David Seebo, Dweh Seebo, Isaac Taka Seebo, John Newton Tubman, Mary Kpaloh, Josephine Hena, Lue Derrick, Alexander Hne, Emmanuel Freeman, Pitman Swen,* Bishop Abraham Brown*, plus a host of others too numerous to name.

Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, funeral will be held privately in Minneapolis, MN on Tuesday, May 5th. A Memorial and celebration of her extraordinary life will be held at a later date when things normalize. May her soul rest in peace.
