It is with deep sorrow the Cole, Brewer and Norris families announce the homegoing of their beloved, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Mrs. Ethel C. Newman. She went to be with the Lord on July 22, 2020 in Philadelphia, PA.

She leaves to mourn her daughters Edith Norris and Gertrude Brewer. Six grandchildren Michael Jackson, Charles Brewer, Florence Brewer, Chuck Norris, Vanessa Norris-Wambui, and Dimanche Brewer. She also leaves 9 great grand children Dominic Jackson, Jada Brewer, Kiyah Brewer, Ajali Brewer, Kamran Brewer, Olivia Jackson, Kola Jackson, Ester Wambui and Douglas Wambui, one brother Charles D. Cole (Olivia) and host of nieces, Nephew, cousins, and other relatives in the United States, Liberia and other parts of the world. Ethel Cole Newman was predeceased by her mother Kema Barnie Cole , father Charles D. Cole, sisters Eileen Cole and Musu Barnie.

The Lord has called home his faithful servant to be with him in eternity. She will be missed. Rest in heavily peace until we meet again. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the funeral and burial arrangement will be private for family only.
