The Walkers, Neufville and Adeleye families announce the sad loss of their beloved father, brother, uncle, grand uncle and friends of Mr. William Dioh Neufville. This home going event occurred on March 20, 2017 at Sentara Hospital in Woodbridge, VA following a brief illness. He was 90 years old.
Mr. Neufville was born on May 6, 1927 in Lagos, Nigeria to the Union of Mr. Wah Neufville and Ms. Kpaneh Wort.
During his early years, he attended the Baptist Academy and St. Gregory College in Lagos, Nigeria. He later worked for the railway company in Ebute Meta, Nigeria. He moved to Liberia in the fifties, joined the Police Force in Maryland County, Liberia. He relocated to Monrovia and was employed at the Bureau of Budget, The Capital Building. Also, he taught accountant at the University of Liberia. Due to his vast experience, he was able to work for various private international companies as an accountant.
The late William Dioh Neufville’s wife, Elisa Dennis Neufville, senior brother Johnson Jleh Neufville, beloved sister, Mary Weade Neufville all of whom preceded him. Those he leaves to morn his loss are: Annie Modupe Walker Adeleye, niece, Ade Walker, Oluwatoyin Adeleye, Folasade Adeleye, Nuna Kollison and Tamara Walker Powell grand nieces; Alfred Thompson, Kcabeh Charles Walker, John Polee Toe, Jr., nephews; Zonneh Walker, Alfred Thompson Jr., AJ Thompson, Tyric Thompson and Quency Morgan great grand nephews; and of host of relatives and friends.
