The Simpson, Bright, Goodridge and Neal families wish to announce with regret the passing of their mother, sister, aunty, grandmother, great-grandmother, Mrs. Comfort Martha Simpson Goodridge Neal affectionately known as “Cee-Cee". Comfort went home to the Lord on Monday, April 16, 2018, at the Summit Commons Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Providence RI, U.S.A.
Both husbands Hon. E. Jonathan Goodridge, (pre-deceased 1976), Fillmore R. Neal, Jr. (pre-deceased 2010), her son; Carbah Goodridge and daughter; Jerusha George (pre-deceased); four sisters: Vera George, Isabel Simpson Cooper Norris, Clarice Simpson, Abner Simpson and two brothers, Henson Simpson and Augustus Bright pre-deceased her.
Cee-Cee leaves to mourn her death her children: Joseph E. Goodridge (Roseline), Everett J. Goodridge, Jr. (Ruth deceased), J.Chauncey Goodridge (Josephine), James N. Goodridge(Naomi),Deloris Goodridge, Gladys Goodridge Dennis (Alphonso deceased), Comfort Harmon-Massiquoi, Rev. Emmett Goodridge (Evelyn), Amos Goodridge, Benjamin Goodridge(Wynetta), Leona Goodridge Porte (Edward), Edwin Goodridge(Rose), John Kerkula, Comfort Bright Yarngo (Justin), Johnetta Goodridge-Johnson(Llewellyn), Maryann Goodridge, Joanna Nane Goodridge-Williams(Michael), Maretta Goodridge-Karmo, Eyvonne Bright Harding(Burgess), and Augustus Bright, Jr. Siblings: Elenora Dennis, Rebecca Haynes, Celesta Wilson, Eugenia Simpson, and Isaac Bright. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces nephews, cousins, friends, and acquaintances.
