Mrs. Yvonne Edna Georgene Stevenson Musinguzi

With profound sadness, the Musinguzi, Wordsworth, Stevenson, Woodson, Urey and Freeman families  announce the untimely passing of our dearly beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend – Yvonne Edna Georgene Stevenson Musinguzi on January 20th, 2014. 

Yvonne was affectionately known as “Vonnie”, a loving, creative, talented and enterprising personality.  She leaves to mourn her loss, her beloved husband, Hannington  Musinguzi , daughters -  Karen E. Musinguzi and Nancy M. Musinguzi, Niece – Hadja Thiam, Nephews – Abdoulaye (Melinda) Thiam, Ousmane Thiam,  Grandnieces –  Tsedey M. Pretto, Farah and Anaya Thiam. She will be missed by her sister Gwendolyn E. Stevenson Thiam, sisters-in-law – Hilda, Alice, Margaret, Rose, Brother-in-law – John,  very dear cousins, Corann Phelps Okorodudu (affectionately called “Aunt Corann”) and Juliette Phelps Maxwell, a host of foster brothers, sisters, cousins, other relatives and friends from Liberia, Uganda, Germany, and the United States. 

She was pre-deceased by her father, the late Honorable George B. Stevenson, and mother, Ambassador Eugenia A. Wordsworth Stevenson. We give heartfelt thanks to the Lord for her life,  celebrate her home-going, and pray that the Holy Spirit will comfort and guide us as we mourn our loss.
