Rev. Anthony Cadmus Moore, Sr.
With
great sadness the Moore, Stryker, Page, and
Gray families announce the death of Hon. Rev.
Anthony Cadmus Moore, Sr. in his 90th year.
This sad event occurred on Monday, November
22, 2010 at the Boston Medical Hospital, Boston,
Massachusetts. He was born on March 7, 1921
to the union of the late Henry Moore, Sr. and
Eliza Redd-Moore of Paynesbury, Liberia.
Hon.
Rev. Moore is survived by his wife Mrs. Lucretia
Gray-Moore; his many children including Vivion
Moore (Cora Wilson-Moore), Cecelia Harris, Catherine
Harris, Joyce Moore-Liberty (Sam Liberty), Arisa
Moore-Gant (Bill Gant), Queenette Moore-Willie
(Eli Willie), Anthony Cadmus Moore, Jr., Arlene
Moore-Dagadu (Connery Dagadu), Larry E. Moore,
Sr. (Shernett Edwards-Moore), Cynthia Moore,
Owen Spencer Moore, Katie Moore-Coleman (Frank
Coleman), Temora Moore-Gray, Alvina Moore-Clifton
(Jim Dagadu Clifton), step-daughter Yvette Lomax-Lawson
(Joe Lawson), and three foster children: Rebecca
Stryker, Hezekiah Franklin, and Fred Moore.
He will be deeply missed by his spouse, 18 children,
53 grandchildren, 46 great-grand children, a
host of other relatives and friends including
his church family.
Rev.
Moore was a devoted Christian and lived his
life helping the underserved. We love him, but
God loves him best.
