It is with profound sadness that the Massey, Shannon, Dennis, Thomas, Lewis, Johns and Marsh families announce the transition in his 71st year of their beloved father, brother, uncle, cousin and loyal friend. Samuel Benedict Massey commonly known as Big Ben, Ben departed these temporary shores on Thursday, August 27th, 2020 in Providence, Rhode Island USA.
In a beautiful lifetime well-lived, he faithfully served his community and was a pillar of strength to his family and friends. His kind and loving demeanor will forever be treasured and remembered.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his siblings, children and a host of relatives and friends in Liberia, United States and abroad.
