The
Mason, Bracewell, and Turkett families triumphantly
announce the eternal home going of their Mother,
Sister, Grandmother, Aunt and Cousin, Mrs. Louise
Bracewell "Woe-Woe" Mason. Through
the Divine Goodness of GOD, Mommy took her perpetual
rest after a brief illness on Tuesday May 31,
2011 at Kindred Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
Mommy
(Muma) leaves to cherish her memory, her children:
Ettie Emeline Pedersen Wilson (Richmond), Francis
Mason, Othello Mason, Georgetta Mason-Brown
(Terrence) Hannah Mason, Amanda Mason-Freeman(Edwin),
Gertrude Mason, Siah Mason, Nathan Askie, Jerry
Bracewell, Samuel Mason and Robert Mason. 3
Niece-Daughters: Dazalene Mason-Duncan, Florine
Dyer-Wilson and Louise "Malou" Taylor.
38 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
3 sisters: Ida Mai Whisnant, Mildred Bracewell
and Maryann Bracewell. 4 brothers: Jefferson
Bracewell, Husher Bracewell, Richard "
Sonnyboy" Taylor and Emmett Taylor. Mommy
also leaves behind to cherish her memory several
loving and caring nieces, nephews and a host
of relatives and friends.
Mommy
has been reunited with her husband George Scott
Mason, her four sons: Stanley Mason, Eugene
Mason, Scott Mason, and Alvin Mason. Her siblings:
Charlotte Taylor Sheriff, Amanda "Bipe"
Bracewell- Curtis, Anna Bracewell-Tubman, Lala
Bracewell-Opoku, Harmon Bracewell and Francis
Bracewell. She will be greatly missed and will
forever be loved in our hearts!
