v.7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. v.8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that the Arku, Anderson, Baysah, Boyah, Bryant, Degein, Fahnbulleh, Howard, Jaffar, Jallah, Kahnga, Kargbo, Kennedy, Kessely, Kholobale, Kollie, Korvah, Lillie, Macauley, Massaquoi, Mamolu, McIntosh, Mickson, Moore, Opoku, Perry, Pour, Sheriff , and Shiancoe families announce the death of our beloved mother, sister, aunty, niece, cousin, and phenomenal friend, Dolly Yassah Macauley. This sad event occurred on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 9:56 PM at Suburban Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA.

Dolly is predeceased by her father, William Macauley, her uncle Geroge Arku, her sister Veronica T. Macauley, her brother Thomas Macauley and her nephew Winfred "Chuckie" McIntosh. She leaves to cherish her sweet memories, her son Toomey Anderson and daughter in-law Elizebeth Anderson, grand-daughters Alizay Speight and, GraceAnna Anderson; mother Annie N. Arku, step-dad Nana Opoku-Boamah, siblings: Annette Opoku, Martin Opoku, Niket Allen-Fahnbulleh, Makra Opoku, Fathia Macauley, Mary Arku, Victoria Carr, and Jonathan Arku; nieces Veronica, Niket Arku, Annette, Justine, Albertine, Yonblee, and Monick; nephews Diamond, Junior Boy, Praise, Elijah, Noble, and Akin; grand nieces and nephews, children Dolly inherited, aunties, uncles, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends around the world.

Dolly was beautiful, loving, kind, caring and a loyal person. Her vibrant, sweet, compassionate, and gentle spirit along with the joy she shared with us will linger in our minds and hearts FOREVER. We will cherish Dolly’s memory and rejoice in knowing that Dolly is resting in everlasting peace with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
