Mrs. Annie Eleatain Phillips Lewis

The Lewis, Phillips and Woods families announce with deep regret the passing, in her 88th year, of Mrs. Annie Eleatain Phillips Lewis (wife of the late Honorable Judge James Henry Lewis).   This sad event occurred on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 11:32pm, at Wake Medical Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina.

She leaves to mourn her lost while cherishing her memories her children: James H. Lewis Jr, Winifred Lewis, Earner Lewis, E. Tyson Lewis (Michelle), Vashti Frances Lewis Kekula (Gyah), Eric C. Lewis and  other children: Dolly Lewis Sherman, Victoria Lewis, F. Ben Lewis (Rose), Elaine Bright (Richard) and Marion Lewis Morris.  Grandchildren include: Genede Wilson, Thomas Y. Wilson (Joy), John T. Attia (Jini), Vanessa  Mellish Williams (Cedric), Lechetze Lewis, Dee Dee Lewis, Vashlyn Kekula, Ashley Kekula, G. Beyan Kekula Jr., Annie Lewis, Ann Lewis, Marcia Lewis, and Thomas Grant (Edith). Nieces & Nephews: Roland Obedekia, George Findley, Eleatain Comfort Sawyer (Amos), Precious Mills, Josephine Birch (Dwight) Marcia Monger, Sandra Mills-Bynum, Marian Mill-Douglas (Sam), and a host of other relatives and friends.

Annie Lewis was predeceased by her father James C. Phillips, mother Elizabeth Woods Phillips, husband Honorable Judge James H. Lewis Sr., Brother: James C. Phillips, Sisters:  Maggie P. Monger, Pearnette Phillips and step-son James H. Lewis (JH).  She will be missed by her beloved family and friends.  May Light Perpetual Shine Upon Her.
