January 1, 1938 – May 1, 2020 Celebration of Life Keper, otherwise variantly and popularly called Bebbeh, was born on January 1, 1938 onto the union of *Mulbah Katakoi and *Garmai Wainlaper in the town of Gbarnsue Sulonma, Zoeta District, Bong County. She was the third of 7 children blessed upon the union, including *Nai Gorpu, *Flomo Kponwey, *Ma Korto & *Vamuyan – twins, *Kerkulah Fahinah and Nowai Watta – twins, with all but Nowai Watta predeceasing her. Bebbeh was blessed with many children – all boys and one girl – *Korto, who became a victim of the Liberian civil war and predeceased her. Surviving children include James (Rashidat) & Bobby in the USA, Winston (Esther), Kleekolon (Lorpu) and Moses (Christina) in Liberia, as well as grandchildren – Jamesetta, Deborah, Josephine, Diamond, Kiever, Solomon, Rashidat, Bebbeh, Martin, Catherina, Moses, Korto, Winston, Moses, Jacob, Bobby, Marie, Favor and Charles, along with many great grandchildren - Aries, Lincoln, Josephus and Ishmael among others. Other family members include Lorpu Dennis, Siatta (Brown), Jerry, Sekou, Marie (Sumo), Krubah, Jeremiah, Les, Krubah, and Golayon. Bebbeh was a devout Christian, a wonderful and fun-loving human being with a warm heart. She was a loving and hardworking mother, who grew up in Gbarnsue Sulonma and later moved to Monrovia in the late 50’s to begin her married life. While living with her husband in Buzzi Quarter, now Capitol Hill district in Monrovia, she went on to work as a stone quarrying/rock crushing laborer in the construction project of the Liberian Executive Mansion that was completed in 1964. She was a family person and a woman of God. We love you, Mama, Bebbeh, Mother, Grandma, Great Grandma. We will miss you. You will always be in our hearts, Mother. Let God Almighty bless your sweet soul until we meet again.
