It is with profound sadness that the Morais, Scott, Hne, Yancy, Natt, Moriah, Davis and Lama families announce the peaceful home-going of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Mrs. Charlotte Weade Morais Lama. This sad event occurred on Friday, November 30, 2018 in Worcester, Massachusetts. She will always be loved and solely missed.

Mama, Grandma, Sister, Aunty Charlotte, Ma Charlotte, leaves to mourn her loss, 10 children: Francis Yancy (Cecelia), Samuel Natt II (Connie), Mulah Moriah (Keturah), Dr. Florine Dosumu Davis, Rose Lama-Jacques (Marcaisse), Gabriel Lama (Ami), Louise Lama Richardson (Martin), Daniel Lama (Queenly), Jerome Lama (Janet) and Lois Lama-Wolobah (Amos); 47 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, Siblings: Sarah Morais Freeman, Sophia Morais, Gregory Scott Hne, Sarah Hne, Alice Hne and Moriah Hne Dean. Several foster children, nieces and nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives. She is predeceased by her parents Dr. Francis Morais and Sarah Scott Hne; husband Rene A. Lama, sisters Susanna, Mary & Jane; brothers; Francis, Major and Lee.

Viewing of the body/Wake Keeping will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 6:00 – 10:00 P.M. Trinity United Methodist Church, 375 Broad St, Providence, RI 02907

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. Trinity United Methodist Church, 375 Broad St, Providence, RI 02907

Interment will be at the Swan Point Cemetery, 585 Blackstone Blvd, Providence, RI 02906
