The
Kpaan, Dorley, Anderson and Brown families regret
to announce the home going of their husband,
father, uncle, brother and grandfather. Hon.
Siafa Oliver Kpaan, Sr., answered the call of
His creator on Sunday, January 31, 2010 after
a protracted illness.
The Late Hon. Kpaan was pre-deceased by his
wife, Mrs. Maryann Bernard- Kpaan. He leaves
to mourn his death, his current wife, Mrs. Hawa
Bengu Kpaan, ex-wife, Ms. Sata Kpaan, his children:
Bayah, Vuyou (Roselyn), Nana, S. Oliver, Jr.(Gracetee),
Maimah (Emmanuel), Kookai (Margaret), Neyor
(Hector), Queenteyeh (David), Teyangi-Tata,
Tuvia, Andrew, Anna, Garfield, Tonia, Hawa,
Zaire, Blama, Varney, Momoh, Adama (big), Famatta,
Musu (Kekeh), Siafa, Sanoe, Adama (small), Charles
(Zoe), and forty-four grandchildren.
Also
mourning his loss are his brothers: Morley,
Roosevelt, Ted, Zoborn Brown, Charles Brown,
and Charles Tubman. His surviving sisters include:
Etta (Sinoe), Yagbe-Gunu, Massa-Gbonnu, Yakpa,
Bawah, and Yeabono.
He
was also pre-deceased by two children: Daniel
and Rose Kpaan; four brothers: Muannah (Kekeh),
Seah Damago, Mambu, Moses Brown, one sister:
Tenneh Rollace, and several cousins including
Musu Sanor.
Mourning
Hon. Kpaan's loss are also his nephews and nieces,
including: Jusu, Medu, Soko, Molley, Tuku-Gbeleh
, Muannah (Kekeh), Sano (Kekeh), Farkamon, Moses
Brown, Jr. (Oldman) Varney Brown, Joseph Duo,
Konah Duo, Francis Zayay, Sano Kpan-Varney,
Ben Anderson; Musu (Tenneh), Ashartu, Somoh,
Jarmah, Fatu, Althea, Jenneh, Musu Junius, Musu
(Tutu), and Lasa Anderson.
Our father's death is also mourned by his cousins
including: Morris Jusufu, Sensee, Varney Jemah,
Famata Gbeh, Bohbono, Brundell E. Taylor, Macdonald
Anderson, AB Anderson, Jr., Taweh Anderson (Nukunu),
Roland Anderson, Brownell, Evelyn Anderson-Zayzay,
Weatta Anderson-Bogar, Konah Anderson, Alphonso
Anderson (Chuku), Elizabeth Anderson, Mom Anderson,
Victoria Anderson-Gould, Massah, Bindu, Zoe
Anderson, Murphy Anderson, Alfred Anderson,
Seah Taylor, Konah Taylor and Jornorpuu. His
surviving uncles and aunts are: Jusu, Hon. H.
Q. Taylor and Mrs. Rose Price, respectively.
Additional
family members who mourn Hon. Kpaan's loss include:
The Fahngons, Murvees, Sarnors, Johnsons, Washingtons,
Faulkners, and Jaiahs. His sisters, brothers,
nephews and neice-inlaws, including: Bindu Jermon,
Annie, Rose Billimah Gannah Cephus Bernard,
Morris Freeman, Varney Freeman and Gladys Freeman-
Fahngon and host of other relatives also mourn
his loss.
The loving years we shared with our father will
forever live in our hearts. May his soul and
the souls of the faithful departed rest in perfect
peace and may light perpetual shine on him.
