Stephen Yohn Konah

Sunrise: February 15th 1954 - Sunset: September 26th, 2020

It is with profound sorrow that the Konah, Yolloe, Gbaintor and Gbartoe families announce the peaceful passing in his 66th year of their beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin Stephen Yohn Konah. He transitioned peacefully from labor to rest on Saturday 26th 2020 in Burlington Township, New Jersey.

He leaves to mourn his devoted wife of more than 45 years, Theresa Yolloe-Konah, children, Nekewon Stephanie Konah and Saye Yeatoe Konah. 7 grandchildren, Nenleah Stephanie Konah, Nenwon Stanley Konah, Sevien Angel Konah, Krysten McKenzie Konah, Sainleseh Mercy Konah, Kayci Else Konah and Grace Tawah Konah.

Also deeply mourning his loss are host of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins grand-nieces/nephews and host of friends and families in the USA, Liberia and Europe. Stephen was predeceased by his parents Jimmy Lou-Konah and Yeiwhile Konah

Stephen graduated from St. Patrick’s High School and obtained his B. Sc. in Economic from the University of Liberia and completed his MBA in Finance from Maastricht University in the Netherlands. Stephen worked for National Investment Commission for many years, Prudential Financial Insurance in New Jersey and later as a Comptroller for the Ministry of Agriculture/RoL. Stephen once served as the Chairman of LPP/USA, MoJA/Liberia, UL’s Student Unification Party (SUP) and was a member of various organizations in Liberia and the US, including the United Nimba Citizen’s Council.

Viewing: Saturday October 17th, 2020 from 8:30 AM- 9:30 AM at the United Christian Fellowship Church located 232 East Front Street Florence, NJ.

Funeral Service: Saturday October 17th, 2020 at the United Christian Fellowship Church located 232 East Front Street Florence, NJ from 9 AM–12 PM
Due to the Covid-19, the CDC guidelines of social distancing and facial mask wearing will be required during the funeral service. The church can only host 50% (110-Persons) of its capacity.
