It is with deep sadness that the Wah, Dunbar, and Knuckles families announce the homegoing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt Ethel Dunbar Knuckles Wah, affectionately called “Dartee”, “Aunty Darling”, “Sister Ethel”. This sad event occurred on Sunday, March 31, 2019 in North Carolina, USA.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her loving children, Bushin Knuckles Wilson, Gabriel E. Knuckles III, Marie Knuckles, Raymond Knuckles, Sr. and an adopted son, Moses Knuckles Hampton. Her husband, Jacob Wah, and children George Dunbar Knuckles, Sr., Winston A. Knuckles and Willis D. Knuckles, Jr. predeceased her. She also leaves to mourn her loss several siblings, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
