It is with deep sadness that the Forkpa, Quengawu, and Juah families announce the homegoing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt Mrs. Klubo Mayea Forkpa. This sad event occurred on Tuesday, December 29th, 2020 at her daughter’s residence, Monrovia, Liberia.
Ma-Yea, Sixty-Grandma, as she was affectionally called is survived by her children Massu Beyan-Juah, James S. Forkpa, Jr., Yassah Forkpa-Kokulo, and Milton F. Forkpa; her sister Deddeh Kolu Quengawu, Kebeh Quengawu-Williams, Wuebeh Quengawu, Lorpu Quengawu; brothers Flomo Quengawu, Aloysius Quengawu, George Koluba Quengawu, and Peter Quengawu; nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, many other children she raised, and a host of relatives and friends.
She is predeceased by her husband Mr. James Forkpa, Sr.; her parents and host of brothers and sisters.
