Funeral
services of the Late Hartzell Augustus G.
Killen, Jr. will be held on Thursday, May 6,
2010 and Friday, May 7, 2010, in Monrovia, Liberia:
A
family hour for viewing of the body will
take place on May 6, 2010, from 6: OO PM to
7:00 PM, at the A. B. Anderson Funeral Home
on Lynch Street.
The
remains of the Late Hartzell Augustus G. Killen,
Jr. will be removed from the A. B. Anderson
Funeral Home on May 7, 2010, at 9:00 AM,
and taken to the First Assembly of God Church
on Buchanan Street, for a eulogy at 10:00 AM.
Thereafter, the body will be interred at the
Kadona Cemetery, in the Township of Bardnersville.
Hartzell
Augustus G. Killen, Jr. died on Tuesday, March
30, 2010 in Danane, the Ivory Coast, after a
brief illness. He was predeceased by his father,
Hartzell Augustus G. Killen, Sr.
Hartzell leaves to mourn his loving wife, Florence
Witherspoon Kil-len(Raleigh, NC); his dear mother,
Joan Eliza Roberts Killen(Newark, NJ); his beloved
children, Veronica Killen(Konah)Monrovia, Liberia;
Hartzell Augustus G. Killen, and Kamah Princess
Killen(Sarah Cooper)Raleigh, NC; and Hazell
Augusta Killen (Helena Jones)Lawrence, MA; his
Siblings, E. Delano Cooper (Newark, NJ); Warren
H. Cooper, Jr.(Greenville, Sinoe County); Arnold
V. Cooper(Monrovia, Liberia); Eliza Killen Hudson
Zonn(Orange, NJ); Foster R. H. Killen II(Brooklyn
Center, MN); Ernie Rex Killen(Accra, Ghana);
Jemima N. Killen(Newark, NJ); Alfred N. Killen(Newark,
NJ); Wil-liam N. Killen(Sayreville, NJ); and
Alphonso N. Killen(Dover, DE).
Hartzell
also leaves to mourn his uncles, William M.
Roberts, Sr.(Monrovia, Liberia); Ishmael G.
Roberts, Sr.(Newark, NJ); and James Faye Rob-erts(Monrovia,
Liberia); his Suehn Mission Alumni Family; his
good friend Oscar Ouei(The Ivory Coast); grandchildren,
nephews, nieces, and a host of relatives and
friends in Liberia, the Ivory Coast, Ghana and
the USA.
