Miatta Elizabeth Karnley

The Kiazolu, Karnley, Clement-Brown-Cooper (CBC) families announce with deep regrets the home going of our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and family member Miatta Elizabeth Karnley, lovingly known as “MEK”. This sad event occurred on Saturday, December 26, 2020 in Woodbridge, Virginia.

She leaves to mourn her loss her son, Kinnie W. Brown (Nyedea), her grandchildren – Kiannah, Kamillah, Kindrah, Karismah, Kindrick, Miracle, Kinnie Jr., and Sherman; her siblings, Kemah Karnley; Sata Karnley (Abraham), Varney Karnley (Gayduow); nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends in the United States and Liberia.

Funeral arrangements:
Viewing of the body will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 10:00am, followed by the home going service at 11:00am at:
First Mount Zion Baptist Church

Dumfries, VA 22025

Due to COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions, social distancing and wearing of mask will be maintained and strictly enforced. The home going service will also be streamed live on the First Mount Zion Baptist Church website beginning at 11:00am at https://www.lifestream.tv/fmz-live.
