It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that the Kamara, Cassell, and Ricks families announce the death of our beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, Evangelist Evelyn Cassell Kamara, who was commonly called Mamie Cassell or Mamie Kamara. This sad event occurred on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 7:22 PM at the Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, New Jersey, USA.
She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph F. Kamara Sr.; Children; Alex Roberts, Orlando Roberts, Daniel Jeh Jr. Derrick Jeh, Michael Jeh, Jameson Kamara and Joseph F. Kamara Jr. Five (5) grandchildren, Siblings; Isabella Cassell, Albert B. Cassell Sr., Marie Cassell Smith (Glenn) Genevieve Cassell, J. Napoleon Cassell Jr. (Terri), MacArthur Cassell, J. Allen Morris (Bendu) Samuel Barker (Wade) Joseph Barker (Mary), Rev. Ralph Flowers (Yassah) and Arimetta Duncan. Aunts, Leemu Ricks and Rebecca Cassell. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her Father, J Napoleon Cassell Sr., her Mother Emma Ricks Cassell, and three siblings: Wilhelmina Ricks, Otelia Dixon Ricks, and Rhoda Dixon. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercies of God rest in perfect peace.
