Mrs. Williametta Eastman Jordan

John 14:1-3

I am going to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; where I am. There ye may be also”

The Eastman, Porte, Buckle, Carr, Thorpe, Witherspoon, Weeks, and Braithwaite families regret to announce the death of our dearest Mother, Sister, Aunty, Grandmother, Cousin, and friend, Mrs. Williametta Eastman Buckle Jordan.   This sad event occurred on Wednesday February 25, 2015 at 4:01pm at Middlesex Hospital Middletown CT.

Williametta (Mom, Grand mom, Sister Met, Aunty Met, Metta and Cousin Met as she was affectionately called) was predeceased by her parents: Mr. Wilmot Eastman, and Mrs. Nancy Porte Eastman. She was predeceased by her husband Wilbert Jordan.  She leaves to mourn her stepmother Miatta Eastman, ex-husband Evaristus R Buckle, Four Children Horatio Leonard Buckle (Deceased) Evaristus Sonnyboy Buckle (Ethel), Lyla Buckle Natt (John), Delcina Buckle Camp (Sultan). Eight Grandchildren, Four Foster children Jerome Sacker, Edward Garjay, Jamesetta  Svedberg(Joseph) Linda Johnson, Two Brothers Eric Eastman, Emmanuel Eastman, Five Sisters Julia Eastman, Elaine Eastman Johnson, Louise Eastman Taylor Maude Eastman and Rebecca Eastman. Several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, cousin and a host of relative and friends in the United States, Ghana, Norway, and Liberia. May her soul rest in peace, and may light perpetual shine upon her. Until we meet again so long.
