Gbessi Killiwe Jones,  “GK”

With heavy hearts and great sadness, we announce the home going of our beloved husband, father, brother and dear friend, Gbessi Killiwe Jones,  “GK” as he is affectionately known, was called to rest by our Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 18th 2013 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence RI.  We are comforted that he is resting in peace with The Lord.

He is survived by this devoted, dedicated and loving wife of 39 years, Frances Ansumana Jones, his daughters, Deddeh  F. , Lorpu  E. (LP), and Shyloe K. Jones, his sisters  Jatu Lavalah Travers, Ida Mamusu Ansumana, Victoria Ansumana Carter, Margaret Ansumana, his brothers Rubel Travers and Benjamin Carter, Amos Beyan, his uncles Gbessi Kemah, E. Sumo Jones and aunt Esther Peal Kemah, Several nieces, nephews, cousins, a host of relatives in Liberia, United States, Gambia, Europe, Africa, The Monrovia College and Suehn Union Families.

We will miss him dearly but his legacy will remain with us forever.
