Alice Tobade Freeman Jones

It
is with a deep sense of grief and profound sadness
that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved
Teta Alice. Our mother, sister, grandmother,
great grandmother, aunt, cousin and dear friend,
Alice Tobade Freeman Jones, departed this world
on Thursday, May 13, 2010. This very solemn
incident transpired at the John F. Kennedy Medical
Center in Monrovia.
Teta
Alice leaves to mourn her death, her husband,
Mr. Benjamin Jones, Sr., her children: Alvin
Jones, Mildred Jones, Annie Jones-Taplah, Benjamin
Jones, Jr., Valerie Jones-Pelham and Harlold
Jones; 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
She is further survived by her siblings: George
K. Freeman, Sophie W. Freeman-Lardner, Edith
N. Freeman, Josephine W. Freeman, Francis T.
Freeman, Jr., and T. Edwin Freeman; several
nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces cousins,
nephews- and nieces-in-laws and a host of other
relatives and friends.
Preceding
Teta Alice in death were her parents, Francis
T. Freeman, Sr. and Julia G. Freeman, as well
as three of her siblings: Flocina Freeman-Kelly,
H. Jefferson Shannon and Louisa Freeman-Nyema.
We pray that her soul and all the souls of our
departed loved ones rest in peace.
FUNERAL
ARRANGEMENTS:
Wake
will be held at the Jones' residence in
Logan Town on Thursday June 3, 2009, at 8:00
PM.
Removal of Teta Alice's remains from the Samuel
A. Stryker Funeral Parlors in Sinkor, will take
place at 9:00 AM on Friday June 4, 2010.
Funeral
services will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday
June 4, 2010, at the Providence Baptist Church
on Ashmun Street in Monrovia.
Interment
will take place at the Brewerville Cemetery.
Repast
will follow immediately at the Brewerville Town
Hall.
